When the name "carry out" is specifically in the name of an establishment, it should set your mind to the right tone realizing that even if you do decide to sit down "cafe" style, it is NOT their main focus. Frankly, I've never been in the position to take a seat at a table. Their menu is ample enough to fill most needs if you are familiar with the Highland House a bit further west along Highland Road. I always tend to get some ribs and a greek salad and perhaps some wings and a side from time to time. The staff is always very nice and their estimates for timing are pretty good. This is a standard stop of for me when I want a decent nosh at home without the fuss.

Picked up some carry-out when visiting my mom's and it was great. She had me pick-up some sauce too, which was great next day on spagetti. Ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich and a greek salad. Loved the homemade pizza like bread and the chicken tasted fresh and liked the grilled taste. Next time I will have to try the lasagna!

Decent pizza, and these days a lot better than the chains nearby, who keep lowering their quality (along with their prices). Highland House's calzones are also pretty good. My husband loves their ranch dressing, especially paired with the "famous" bread sticks ~ unchanged from when he was a kid. I personally find the bread sticks a little dry and not quite garlicky-buttery enough for me, but they're known for their bread sticks and many rave about them. This location is definitely a plus if you're wanting take-out, as parking is much easier than their main location, and you won't have to deal with the line of customers you always find there waiting to be seated .

Good pizza, hot wings, and salad carry-out deals. Friendly staff. Call ahead to place order. Also a chicken dinner carry-out that's a bargain. Food has been consistent for several years that we have been going. Friendly staff. Had one bout with illness that might have been their take-out salad, although we had some food of our own with the meal also. Never seems to be super crowded - not sure if that's a sign of the restaurant's popularity or not. We like it.

Alright, so I have been hitting the Highland House hard for years. This sounds really girthy, but my friends and I have a deep love for the bread they serve. Overall, I have had great experiences throughout the years. But I must ask, is it just the area there or what? Because the water they serve (even beverages with ice) is really nasty! Which has never stopped me from going there but really... why is it so gross? Also it'd be nice if they had more vegetarian options, though I do love their Greek Salads. Also awesome pizzas.

My experience here is limited. My daughter likes the pizza, the ribs are above average for the area, meaty and not quite fall-off-the-bone. Sauce isn't too sweet. Salads are sometimes pre-made and held in a cooler, but in my experience they are always fresh. But the thing you have to get is the garden sandwich. Yeah, it sounds all vegetarian, and I guess it is, but get it anyway even if it sounds like every other veggie sandwich you've ever seen. Green pepper, onion, tomato, olives, artichoke, provalone and feta, tomato-basil pesto. Grilled on ciabatta, the feta and pesto get a little creamy and drippy, and this thing is more than the sum of it's parts. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had, anywhere. And it's 5 bucks, cheaper than a sandwich at Panera. My wife and I often split this and an orchard salad for dinner. Seriously, get this sandwich.

Have been enjoying the Big House pizza (with dough ordered up extra crispy to combat mushiness from all the meat & veggie toppings) the last several visits.

The Stomboli is freaking amazing! Very very greasy but that's what makes it good! They have really good cheesecake too.

Got 2 buffalo chicken sandwiches one Philly, Greek salad two pizzas. People in this area are LACKING PLACES TO EAT, SO THE STARS ARE GIVEN OUT LOOSELY, not just here. I've been on a food vacation 7 days in this area and I've caught on quickly. I've ate at almost every place in this area. Not fast food though, the Philly was the worst sandwich EVER! On crappy pita like bread. One slice of provolone chopped green peppers, yes I said chopped. The same junk they put on the pizza. And since I said pizza, NOT NOT NOT what people say. I live in Vegas and we don't have any GREAT pizza places there, so I'm NOT a hard sell. This place is average, IF THAT!! The sandwiches are below average. I forgot to mention dry.
